Welcome to our website. Our robotics team is under a program called FIRST Robotics. FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a national high school design competition in which students team up with corporate engineers and community sponsors to design and construct a robot during an intense six-week period.  Last year 800 teams from across the country participated in this prestigious event, and this year that number will be even higher.  Our team nickname is the Krewe of NOBOTICS, and this is the third year of our participation in this competition. Last year our team placed seventh in the Atlanta regional competition. This year we are planning to place even higher. "Our mission is to help bring robotics back to New Orleans  but not only that we also wish to rebuild New Orleans!" says Ms.Andrea Spreter the team's coach. Students add that not only are we here to rebuild Robotics and the city we are here to spread more teams around our city! Our robotics team is not only foucus on winning but we are focused on being a team. We have found that we love to work together and that we work better in groups than alone. Isn’t that how a team is supposed to be? Our team is and will be number ONE!
